Chocolate Crinkles

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered Sugar

Directions:

Mix oil, melted chocolate and granulated sugar. Then blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Stir in the flour and baking powder (dough will be thick). Put in the refrigerator and chill for several hours or overnight.

Heat oven to 350. Roll dough into small balls and roll in powder sugar to cover. Place about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.  Bake 10-12 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.

Makes 6 dozen cookies.
